MARY:
Flutter Kicks, Uptown Crunch, WWII SUs

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Oo-de-Lally prayed out the group.

MOLESKIN:
Why YHC continues to Q with stitches in his hand is an anomaly because it means more legs, and running backwards up the largest hill in Dallas (which isn’t saying much) is the best way to build those tree-trunk quads. Not too much mumblechatter as the runs were a little tougher than originally expected. YHC had to modify the distance part way through.

Ina and Oatmeal wouldn’t let YHC refer to himself as “Old Man Douglass” without plenty of comments about “if you hurt now just wait.” Oatmeal was the only PAX not to shed layers through the workout while Ina was in short sleeves all around completely unphased. Sally kept trying to up the distance of running despite the 3 mile stair day completed just yesterday.

All-in-all it was fun to have a bunch of kotters back out (YHC included) for the ruck and #doubletime

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. YHC is Qing an Amazing Race themed workout this Saturday if enough people show up. Last attempt resulted in 4 PAX posting, so embrace your inner-competitive spirit and come out to Burleson.
2. Next Happy Hour scheduled for 12/14

AO: Burleson Park

WARM-O-RAMA:
SSH and IST

THA THANG:
We ran stairs for an hour with some merkins every now and again to spice things up again. Included different staircases around SMU.

MOLESKIN:
Sally and YHC back at it again another Sunday. Beautiful weather let us enjoy a nice tour-de-SMU. Mumblechatter was pervasive throughout, but the most notable comment was about the amount of running for someone who hates it so much. We covered 2.75 miles,  which is a record for YHC and his platypus feet.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
YHC prayed us out noting that we should be, first and foremost, thankful for the Lord’s sacrifice made for us. Praying for everyone traveling this weekend. Praying that everyone has an enjoyable evening with family and friends, or enjoy time to themselves if the former aren’t an option. Happy Thanksgiving and a safe weekend to all y’all men.

MOLESKIN:
Happy Thanksgiving to all y’all.

From the get-go, PAX were warned it would be a heavy leg-day due to some stitches YHC got yesterday in his hand. They quickly realized the reality after an immediate 100m lunge walk down the track. During the trek, we noticed a sizeable crew of people gathering in the field for a soccer match. splash and Sally mentioned playing, but YHC didn’t give in to their desires to play communist kickball.

General chatter about Thanksgiving plans for everybody during the second lunge walk. PAX started complaining about the leg day, to which YHC reminded them that they requested no running, so lunges were the only way to travel.

After the oddly structured Dirty McDeuce, we moseyed to the tennis courts while talking about the Tar Heels taking on the Longhorns tonight and the downfall of Duke last night. The tennis courts were better for the constant duck walking, as we all agreed we’d be judged and shamed for doing that around the communist plot ensuing on the field. Not too much mumblechatter outside of complaints about not being able to sit down for dinner tonight from leg soreness.

Dirty McDeuce with Irkens, Derkins, Claymakers, and Dips
Run down and back up Flag Pole Hill before each set

Mosey back to Norbuck Park

Baby Rampage: Bear Crawl up hill and crabwalk down then do a burpee. Repeato with increasing number of burpees until 8 burpees have been completed

Take a lap around the baseball field and mosey to playground for a few rounds of pull ups

MOLESKIN:
Sally got called in to work the night shift, so YHC was a bit surprised to see him post. Also nice to know I’m not the only sleep deprived PAX showing up to workouts. We took full advantage of working out near the only hill within a 50 mile radius of the city of Dallas. Flag Pole Hill is definitely an underused AO, though understandable given it’s location.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

MOLESKIN:
Once again, the Q was quickly prefaced by a “Where is everyone?” from AlrightAlright. It was a solid 60 degrees, so there really wasn’t an excuse for the shortage of PAX. YHC had planned an Amazing Race themed workout complete with prizes for the winners, but with the shortage of PAX YHC has deferred that Q indefinitely.

Not too much mumblechatter throughout the morning, especially the first part of the burpee beatdown. Apparently 5 burpees is a little egregious for a Bataan Death March, but that number came straight from F3.

Once we made it to the garage, the chatter picked back up again along with a game of Frogger. People on SMU don’t understand how to drive slowly through parking garages adding a little risk to the Q. We wrapped up with some chatter over 6MoM.

All in all, it was a great morning. The weather was near perfect, and seeing SMU set up for homecoming made the tour-de-campus that much more entertaining.
