To be a Q is to be a leader and each man in F3 is a leader in his own sphere. Coach K will be leading a special workout on Monday morning in remembrance of the VA Tech shooting 4/16/2007. As we continue to have warmer weather always be looking for men to invite to join F3 nation. The fitness is the magnet, fellowship the glue, and faith the dynamite.

This week is a big week for F3 Dallas. The weather is coming back into the Spring temperatures which means it’s time to EH men who have used the weather. We also have a Black Ops on Friday (April 13) in the Lake Highlands area at Norbuck Park 5:30 AM. Later that night we have our 2nd F Happy Hour at Ozona Grill and Bar. With all this excitement this week and potential let’s reach out and make each day count!

With Spring weather upon us reach out to men who you have EHed over the winter months but thought it was too cold to workout outside. Make sure to check out the F3 Lexicon for all the new words you may be hearing on this site and at workouts it is very useful.

This week there are two second F opportunities. First is the Scotch Club on Thursday night hosted by Icebox, see the BAND event for more information. Second is this month’s Second Friday Happy Hour at 5 PM at Ozona Grill and Bar. If you have a man who is interested in either of these, invite him to join you. Fellowship is a great way to get men involved in F3.

Men that last two weeks have been amazing in the life of F3 Dallas and in our rescue mission of Sad Clown Syndrome. Men who are joining us recently you have friends who need fitness and other men in their life, invite them to join us at any of the workouts below, but if you invite them make sure to make it yourself. Make sure to check out the F3 Lexicon for all the new words you may be hearing on this site and at workouts it is very useful.

Congratulations to all the teams in the first F3 Dallas Olympiad prizes will be awarded at our next Happy Hour on March 9th. Over the last two weeks we had 7 FNGs (friendly new guys) join us and 5 kotters (men returning to F3 after a period of absence). We also broke a record for weekly attendance. We averaged over 11 men per workout during the Olympics.

One week into F3 Olympiad and team Brazil 🇧🇷 has taken a 6-medal lead over team China 🇨🇳. There are some amazing things happening in Dallas: men are returning to F3 Dallas who have been missed in 2018 receiving Kotters (a warm greeting to a man who posts to a workout after a prolonged absence), Q spots are filling up in advance, and new men are joining workouts daily. Last week was an incredible week with our highest weekly attendance and lets keep the movement going.

The opening ceremonies and games of the first F3 Olympiad have kicked off successfully with a wild game of ultimate Frisbee along with a Chairman Moa workout. This week there is plenty of opportunity for any of the teams to take come from behind and over take Brazil. Will it be from inviting new men to join us and avoid Sad Clown Syndrome, bringing back a F3 man who has been missed since the start of 2018, posting everyday this week, or consistently posting this week?

Games of the F3 Olympiad – Rules

Teams have been announced.  The games are on the calendar (February 10th – February 24th).  Prizes will be awarded to the winning team and the individuals that win medals.  All we need now are the rules.  Here they are:

Medals will be awarded in the following manner:

Gold Medal (3 points):

  1. Emotional Headlocking. An FNG is EH’ed by one of the team members and posts for a workout.
  2. Perfect Week.  A member of the team completes the perfect week by attending all 5 workouts.

Silver Medal (2 points):

  1. Kotters.  A former member of the PAX is brought back into the fold.  If a PAX recruits a former F3 guy that hasn’t been to a workout in 2018.
  2. Consistent Week.  A member of the team attends 3 workouts in a week.

Bronze Medal (1 point):

  1. Posting.  Each workout that a PAX attends will give his team a bronze medal.
  2. Down Range.  If a PAX posts in another F3 Region.

In addition to the team competition, medals will also be awarded to individuals at the end of the Games for the following categories.

  1. All-Around – this will be measured by total points
  2. Emotional Headlocking – this will be measured by total FNG’s
  3. Kotters – this will be measured by former PAX brought back to F3
  4. Attendance – this will be measured by attendance (no bonus points will be given for perfect weeks)

All team captains are ineligible for individual medals (Alright Alright, Coach K, F-150, Teasip).

Additional Rule: Any PAX recruited, whether an FNG or a former F3 PAX, will be placed on the team that recruits them and will be able to score points for that team throughout the games.
