YHC thanked the PAX for being there with him these last 3.5 (or 4.5, YHC can never remember) years with F3 and the improvement YHC has made in fitness (tummy fat loss) and general manhood. YHC would not be where he is today, about to marry the woman of his dreams without F3. Thank you

MOLESKIN:
The jokes were funny and frequent of course. Several PAX mentioned YHC should only need about 3 reps of pickle pounders for the big night and there were probably wasn’t a need for any other type of exercise. During the Apple turnover, YHC mentioned to stop at second base, to which Sally and Draper responded “no now you can go all the way to home base” and the continuation of bases reached was asked to which YHC had no response. Draper requested I note these for the backblast, so feel free to comment if I missed some jokes. When lunges were announced, Draper had some not kind words for Oatmeal after their EC was apparently heavy on the legs with them carrying their coupon and ruck for over 2.5 miles. So #tclaps to them and PowPow (who had to leave early) for doing the EC. There was a heavy dose of Rump F-bombs today, which YHC always likes to hear since it means the workout is tough. The Double Merkin Burpees produced quite the groaning, as well as the burpee suicide. YHC appreciated everyone coming out to show support as YHC bids adieu to the single life.

When YHC starts the warm-up with a mosey it raises eyebrows… When I took a left at the stop sign there was immediate feeling of seriousness. Then Slushii tried to break it up by asking me if I was lost?!?! I just continued to mosey to the track. Oatmeal & I had texted the evening before about meeting at the gate we “usually” go in from Burleson. We talked about the “Boulevard” being the backup location.  We got in at the opposite end by the stadium and without the KTT gang started with “The Coach K” which started with Coach texting me this workout and saying “I thought about you the whole time, Rump”… I felt compelled to share the beatdown and a little bit of Coach K whom we all miss so much. I heard plenty of grumbling and I may have dropped a few F-Bombs myself! Overall it was a great beatdown. We made 4x laps around the track plus the run there and back. While not a KTT, I thought it was pretty respectable.

With Brooks not showing up on Sunday, YHC decided to go heavy on the running. YHC was originally going to do the Suicide Special, but decided to modify it with coupons and football field. Special Sauce and a few others were curious if we were going to repeat the Bill Murray Caddyshak/Groundhog Day workout, but quickly found that was not the case. Rump was none to pleased and let YHC know it early and often. Overall a solid turnout and YHC was happy to have so many post in the Gloom.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM: YHC gave props to @rumproast and @Ultra for going out of their comfort zone and showing up for a running workout.  YHC then asked the PAX to follow that lead and push ourselves to do things we normally shy away from.  If you don’t like running, go run.  If you hate bear crawls, do bear crawls.  Keep this mentality in all aspects of your life not just fitness.

MOLESKIN: YHC wanted to try and stick to the golf theme of the week but doesn’t know much about golf.  The exercises were done in 4’s for a par 4, and the combo’s were inspired by the Arnold palmer (the drink).

Mosey to the North end of Mockingbird Bridge, which is station #1.  Station #2 is the South end of the bridge. Station #3 is the Northwest corner of Glencoe Park and Station #4 is the Southeast corner of Glencoe.

Station #1 = 5 Burpees / Station #2 = 5 Burpees & 10 Merkins / Station #3 = 5 Burpees & 10 Merkins & 20 Lunges / Station #4 = 5 Burpees & 10 Merkins & 20 Lunges & 40 Situps

The workout was to do the exercises above at the station and then run at typical Katy Trail interval pace to the next station, then do those exercises….repeato etc.

Station order: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 3 / 1 / 4

On the second station 4 we only ran to station 3 (due to time), but did the full station 4 exercises then interval pace/all you got back to station 2 and then from there mosey back to La Madeline with time for 5 more burpees.

Totals: 40 Burpees, 50 Merkins, 80 Lunges, 80 WWI situps and somewhere between 2.7 and 3 miles

OK, so maybe it was more “Ground Hog Day” than “Caddyshack” but, again, my knowledge of golf is limited at best! It seemed like a good idea last night. I think everyone heard that the warm-up exercises this morning were suggested golf exercises – The internet never lies… Right?
I noticed Bleep didn’t have a whole lot to say this morning. I believe @Ultra called me an A$$hole the first round across, @Special Sauce told me he was thinking about faking having to take a dump for the first time ever at an F3 workout, @Double Pain told me that he’d forgotten what round he was on reinforcing the “Ground Hog Day” movie comparison. It was a pretty epic beatdown.

No complaints about missing Mary because the 300 flutter kicks pretty much covered it.

We’ve now hit double digits 8 days in a row. Let’s keep the streak alive tomorrow.
